BELGRADE & SARAJEVO: NEW EASTERN EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS FROM PEGASUS

LONDON (1 February 2013) - Pegasus Airlines, flying to 63 destinations in 27 countries, has just added Serbia’s Belgrade and Bosnia’s Sarajevo to its rapidly expanding flight network as its first new destinations for 2013.

Flights to Belgrade, one of southeastern Europe’s largest cities and occupying a picturesque spot on the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, will start on 1 February. They will run four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, between Istanbul and Belgrade to this city renowned for its partying and nightlife.

Later in the month (28 February), a five-times-a week service will launch between Istanbul and Sarajevo running on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Referred to as the ‘Jerusalem of Europe’, Sarajevo’s rich multicultural history is reflected in its physical make-up, making it a fascinating alternative destination to explore in Eastern Europe.
