Blue1 opts with tablet navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems

The Finnish wet lease airline Blue1 opts for the Lido/iRouteManual tablet navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems. Both companies recently signed a five-year contract to this effect.

Blue1 will use the Lido/iRouteManual as a navigation solution in flight operation. The app delivers professional navigation charts for instrument flight rules (IFR charts) to the iPad. Updated charts will be available for download every week so pilots can always access the latest updates before their flight duty.

Blue1 is a Finnish wet lease airline and a member of SAS Group, delivering operational flight services for airlines, tour operators and for other ad hoc flight needs, both long and short term. Blue1 employs close to 400 aviation professionals, with base at Helsinki Airport.
