Boeing Delivers 80th 737 to GOL

SEATTLE, June 28, 2013 –Boeing made its 80th delivery to GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes Wednesday afternoon. The airplane is a Next-Generation 737-800. GOL operates an all-Boeing fleet of owned and leased Next-Generation 737s.

“We’re so proud to deliver GOL’s 80th Next-Generation 737, and we’re proud of the role this airplane has played in helping GOL bring air travel in Brazil and South America to the average citizen,” said Van Rex Gallard, vice president of Sales for Latin America, Africa & Caribbean, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “The efficiency and reliability of the Next-Generation 737 has allowed GOL to build a successful low-cost carrier.”

Gol’s 80th airplane livery was painted with the company’s signature colors. It also features the Boeing Sky Interior.
