Boeing Dreamlifter Maintenance At EGAT

After three years of service, the first 747 Dreamlifter returned to EGAT for regular maintenance. Operated by Atlas Air, and owned by Boeing, the Dreamlifters are an integral part of the 787 production supply chain.

EGAT was home to the modification of all four of the Dreamlifters, spanning the period 2005 to 2009. The return of the first aircraft to EGAT was a welcome sight for the team. It has since returned to service, with no significant issues. It remains a strong example of the good workmanship of the EGAT team.

EGAT is looking forward to seeing the other Dreamlifters return for regular maintenance checkups throughout 2011.
