Brussels Airlines offers 11 new destinations this summer season, which, in aviation, starts on 30 March and runs until end of October. In total the airline will expand its offer with 2.486 extra scheduled flights.
Brussels Airlines, member of Lufthansa Group and a Star Alliance member, is the Belgian airline that offers the widest choice of flights to and from the capital of Europe, Brussels Airport. The company has more than 3.500 employees and 43 aircraft operating some 300 flights daily, connecting the Capital of Europe to over 70 premium European and African destinations and since recently, a daily connection to New York JFK. and 5 connections per week to Washington D.C.
On long haul flights, the airline operates an all new Business Class with full flatbeds and state of the art inflight entertainment, and a brand new Economy class with ergonomic seats and individual inflight entertainment touchscreens. Long-haul flights are operated with Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft.
On its European routes, mainly operated with Airbus A319/A320, Brussels Airlines offers the choice between “b.business”, a Business Class service, “b.flex economy+” which is a flexible product, offering time-saving and comfort at reasonable prices and “b.light economy”, a low fare product. In addition to 18 destinations in Africa and 2 in the US (New York and Washington), Brussels Airlines and its intercontinental partners also offer long-haul services to the United Arab Emirates, China, Thailand, India, North America and Canada.
Brussels Airlines offers cargo capacity on all its flights, commercialised by the Cargo Department. The airline also handles its own daily maintenance.
