On November 9, 2010, Cargolux Airlines International S.A. and 10 other airlines were fined by the European Commission for allegedly operating a cartel in airfreight. Cargolux was fined EUR79.9 million out of a total of EUR799.4 million.
After careful consideration, the Company has decided to file an appeal against the decision of the European Commission. At this stage, Cargolux does not wish to make any further comments on this pending case.
