Cathay Pacific Airways appoints Ashish Kapur as Country Manager UAE & Oman

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that Mr Ashish Kapur has been appointed as the airline’s Country Manager UAE & Oman.

Mr Kapur will be responsible for leading and managing the overall business and operational developments of Cathay Pacific in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

He replaces Mr Brian Yuen, who has been appointed as General Manager – In-flight Services, Dragonair in Hong Kong.

Mr Kapur has accumulated 17 years of experience in passenger and cargo operations in the aviation industry. He began his career with Cathay Pacific as Airport Services Manager at Delhi in 2001 and was later appointed as Cargo Manager for India, Nepal, and Bangladesh in 2007. In 2010, Mr Kapur was appointed as Regional Manager – Cargo overseeing South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Kapur graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. Prior to joining Cathay Pacific, he worked for Cambata Aviation and United airlines in India.
