CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS TO LEASE TWO A350s FROM ILFC

Los Angeles, CA, March 9, 2010 — International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), announced today that it has signed a lease agreement with Cathay Pacific Airways for two Airbus A350 aircraft. The aircraft in this deal represent the first A350s that will join Cathay Pacific’s fleet and are scheduled for delivery in 2015.

“ILFC is excited about placing the first A350s in the Cathay Pacific’s fleet. These aircraft will advance the airline’s fleet optimization efforts and will position Cathay Pacific to compete effectively in the important market of Hong Kong,” said ILFC Chief Marketing Officer Philip Scruggs.
