Director of Tourism Shomari Scott said, “With so much enthusiasm following Cayman Airways’ seasonal route between Dallas and Grand Cayman last year, we are extremely pleased that our esteemed national airline would expand its service to accommodate Texans wishing to visit the Cayman Islands all year round. Dallas is a strong demographic for us and as a result of the expanded service, we look forward to welcoming many more visitors to our shores through the easy and affordable access provided by Cayman Airways.”
Minister for Tourism Hon. Cline Glidden also expressed his support for the expansion of the route saying “the availability of year round service from Dallas Fort Worth will provide a welcomed boost to the existing service by making it easier for our visitors from this region, to take advantage of our many wonderful attractions on both land and sea this summer. With Dallas ranked third in the US for new diver certifications, we are hopeful that the added convenience provided by the year round service will allow many more dive enthusiasts to explore our 365 dive spots and get to know our islands better.”
