
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB), took delivery of its 29th Airbus A320 aircraft, which arrived at the NAIA Airport today, January 29, 2014. This is the airline’s sixth Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with “Sharklets”. “Sharklets” are 2.4 meter wingtip devices that enable lesser fuel burn, and lower emissions. With this delivery, CEB now operates a fleet of 49 aircraft comprised of 10 Airbus A319, 29 Airbus A320, 2 Airbus A330 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Between 2014 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 13 more Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and 4 Airbus A330 aircraft.
