CIT AEROSPACE APPOINTS ESTELLE JANER AS VICE PRESIDENT, OEM AND CONTRACTS

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – May 23, 2014 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) cit.com, today announced that CIT Commercial Air, a global leader in aircraft finance, has appointed Estelle Janer as Vice President, OEM and Contracts. In this role, Estelle will manage CIT’s day-to-day relationship with their OEM suppliers, oversee purchase and support contracts with airframe and engine manufacturers, as well as draft and negotiate operating leases, sales and related contracts. Estelle will initially be based in the company’s Dublin office, but will transfer to the Ft. Lauderdale office later this year.

Estelle started with Airbus in 2000 as Legal Counsel within the Sales and Delivery Group, then joined the Airbus Financing and Commercial Group. She remained as Legal Counsel with Airbus since that time, and in 2011 served as Senior Legal Counsel.

Estelle earned an associate’s degree with a specialization in economics from Lycee Massena, a law degree from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, both in Nice, France, and specialized in aviation law and earned a master’s degree in economics from University of Aix-Marseille.
