CIT AEROSPACE APPOINTS LESLIE CHEN VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

NEW YORK – July 25, 2013 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) a global leader in aircraft finance, today announced that CIT Aerospace has named Leslie Chen, Vice President, Marketing with responsibility for originating new transactions, and marketing the existing aircraft portfolio in Northern Asia. He is based in the Singapore office.

Chen joins CIT from Aviation Capital Group where he was Vice President, Asia, responsible for business development, aircraft leasing and asset management for the region. Prior to joining Aviation Capital Group, Chen was a regional sales manager at Thales Aerospace Asia. He also spent nine years as a commercial pilot for Singapore Airlines. Chen holds a B.S. degree in economics and management from The University of London, and an M.S. in applied finance from the University of Adelaide in Australia.
