CIT AEROSPACE COMPLETES SALE-LEASEBACK OF THREE A321-200s WITH MONARCH AIRLINES
NEW YORK – September 30, 2011 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) today announced that CIT Aerospace, a global leader in transportation finance, has completed a sale-leaseback agreement for three A321-200s with Monarch Airlines, based in the U.K.
The transaction was structured and closed within four weeks. The aircraft with MSNs 1707, 1763, and 2234, are powered by IAE V2533-A5 engines. Monarch Airlines is a new customer for CIT.
CIT owns or finances a fleet of approximately 300 commercial aircraft.
