CIT AEROSPACE COMPLETES SALE-LEASEBACK OF TWO 737-800s with TUI TRAVEL
NEW YORK – July 20, 2011 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT), today announced that CIT Aerospace, a global leader in transportation finance has completed a sale lease-back agreement with TUI Travel Aviation Finance Limited for two 737-800s. The aircraft will be operated by TUIfly based in Germany.
The aircraft are powered by CFM56-7B27B1 engines. CIT now has 12 aircraft on lease to the TUI Group of airlines.
CIT owns or finances a fleet of approximately 300 commercial aircraft.
