CIT AEROSPACE DELIVERS FINAL OF 13 AIRBUS AIRCRAFT TO AMERICAN AIRLINES

NEW YORK – October 1, 2014 – CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) cit.com, today announced that CIT Aerospace, a global leader in aircraft finance, has delivered a new Airbus A321 to American Airlines.

“Through our renewed relationship with one of the premier airlines in the world, this aircraft marks the last of 13 aircraft CIT contracted to deliver to American Airlines through this year,” said Tony Diaz, President of CIT Aerospace. “We’re pleased we could put our expertise and experience to work for American Airlines and provide them with state-of-the-art aircraft as they modernize and transform their fleet. We look to further build on this relationship.”

The aircraft, MSN 6256, is powered by IAE V2533-A5 engines. This brings the total to ten Airbus A321s and three A319s that have been delivered to American Airlines since September 2013.
