Crédit Agricole CIB acted as mandated lead arranger, bookrunner, coordinator and facility agent for EADS’ EUR 3 billion RCF refinancing.
The deal aimed at refinancing EADS’ existing RCF from 2005. Syndication was launched on 9 March 2011 and closed largely oversubscribed with more than EUR 5 billion raised from 39 banks, including the four coordinators and the 16 bookrunners.
Crédit Agricole CIB’s active role in this loan is a reflection of its policy to assist EADS in its development.
EADS is a global pan-European aerospace and defence corporation and a leading defence and military contractor worldwide. The group includes Airbus, Eurocopter, Astrium, Ariane and Cassidian.
