CTT Systems receives order from Air Lease Corporation for the Zonal Drying™ System to be installed in four Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft.

CTT Systems today announced that Air Lease Corporation(NYSE: AL) has placed an order for the Zonal Drying™ Systems to be installed in four Transavia Holland/France new Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft at the Boeing production plant. The systems, which eliminate condensation in the aircraft, are scheduled for delivery during 2015.

“The fact that leading lessors like ALC and airlines like Transavia continue to order the system for new aircraft, based on their long term experience of the Zonal Drying™ system, is very satisfying and again a recognition of the benefits of the system,” comments Peter Landquist, VP Sales & Marketing CTT Systems AB. By eliminating condensation in the aircraft both operational and maintenance costs are lowered through:

• Reduced fuel consumption, i.e. lower aircraft weight of 200-300kg for B737 due to elimination of accumulated water.

• Improved operational reliability, i.e. less corrective maintenance.

• Consistent insulation performance, i.e. water reduces insulation performance.

Moreover, the residual value of the aircraft will be protected or even improved due to the reduced corrosive impact over the years. Reduced fuel burn, due to a reduction in the weight of the aircraft, also has a positive impact on the environment.
