Delta Air Lines Reports July Traffic

ATLANTA, Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today reported traffic results for July 2011. System traffic in July 2011 was flat compared to July 2010 on a 1.0 percent increase in capacity. System load factor of 87.6 percent was 0.7 points lower than the prior year.

International traffic increased 1.5 percent year over year on a 3.3 percent increase in capacity, and load factor decreased 1.5 points to 87.1 percent. Domestic traffic decreased 0.9 percent year over year on a 0.8 percent decrease in capacity. Domestic load factor decreased 0.2 points to 87.9 percent.
