Delta Air Lines to Resume Nonstop Malaga – New York Service

MALAGA, 6 June 2013 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) seasonal nonstop service between Pablo Ruiz Picasso airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy airport will recommence on Saturday, 8 June 2013. The flight will initially operate four times weekly, increasing to five times weekly starting 1 August. The flight will operate throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft, in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.

This summer, our passengers can enjoy a range of new in-flight amenities, complementing Delta’s award winning onboard service.”

Delta’s flight from Malaga features 15 seats in BusinessElite were customers will have the opportunity to experience the new Westin Heavenly® In-Flight bedding, designed and manufactured exclusively for Delta by Westin Hotels & Resorts. In addition, Delta has also introduced a new BusinessElite amenity kit featuring Tumi and Malin+Goetz products.

Delta is making a number of significant investments in its products and services to improve its customer’s experience on the ground and in the air. These include Delta’s state-of-the-art, $1.4bn Terminal 4 at New York-JFK that opened 24 May. In 2012, Delta carried over 22,000 passengers between Malaga and the U.S. on its summer service, with an average load factor of 85% on the route.
