Delta TechOps Expands Maintenance Support Agreement with NEOS Air

ATLANTA, May 7, 2013 – Delta TechOps, the maintenance division of Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), today announced the signing of a new Time-and-Materials (T&M) agreement with Italian air carrier NEOS to expand engine maintenance and overhaul services. The three-year, non-exclusive contract expands the scope of a previous agreement to include the CF6-80C engines associated with the company’s Boeing 767-300ER fleet, in addition to the CFM56-7B engines used on their Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

“As the largest Boeing 767 operator, Delta’s professional men and women offer an unmatched level of maintenance expertise that we can offer NEOS,” said Peter Turner, vice president – Delta TechOps MRO Services. “They have been a valued customer and we are looking forward to continuing to deliver them the industry’s best engine services.”

Delta’s expanded relationship with NEOS is another addition to a growing roster of highly-skilled engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services and leverages the airline’s expertise and global support.

“Delta TechOps was the perfect fit for our organization,” said Marco Brusa, technical director of NEOS. “They have a proven track record and can deliver the precise level of flexibility we need with regard to shop input date and spare engine availability.”
