Deucalion Fund has taken delivery of the first of three A330-300 aircraft acquired from Penerbangan Malaysian Berhad

DVB Bank SE (“DVB”), the Frankfurt-based bank which specialises in transport finance, today announces the delivery of the first A330-300 aircraft out of three acquired from Penerbangan Malaysian Berhad (“PMB”) by Deucalion Capital II Limited / A330 Parts Ltd, which is one of the aviation investment funds advised by DVB.

The aircraft (MSN 073, 1995 vintage), equipped with two 100-inch PW4168 engines, has been delivered in Tupelo, Mississippi, with the ferry flight performed by Malaysia Airlines. The aircraft and engines are being consigned by Deucalion Capital II Ltd / A330 Parts Ltd to Universal Asset Management (“UAM”) and Total Engine Support (“TES”). This is one of the first PW powered A330-300s to be disassembled for spare parts.

Deucalion Capital II Ltd / A330 Parts Ltd has contracted to acquire two more 1995 vintage A330-300 aircraft (MSNs 069 and 100), each also equipped with two 100-inch PW4168 engines from PMB over the next several months. All three A330 aircraft had been on long term lease to Malaysia Airlines.

Deucalion Aviation Funds are actively managed closed-end funds advised by DVB which act as the investment vehicles through which DVB and third party investors invest in aviation equity investments.
