Direct Maintenance commences Air Arabia A320 support at Nairobi

16 June 2013: Direct Maintenance has started today with providing dedicated line maintenance services to Air Arabia in support of its busy A320 operation at Nairobi (NBO) in Kenya.

Air Arabia is the leading low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa. Air Arabia commenced operations in nearly 10 years ago in October 2003 and currently operates from Sharjah International Airport to 83 destinations spreading across the Middle East, Africa, Indian Subcontinent and Europe. The fleet size currently stands at 32 modern A320 aircraft, with another 27 aircraft on order from the factory.

To accomodate this new customer, Direct Maintenance was required to further expanded its UAE GCAA CAR-145 approval, which now covers the following range of aircraft:

Activities under its UAE GCAA CAR-145 approval can now be made available at the following locations:

Lusaka (LUN), Zambia
Nairobi (NBO), Kenya (NEW)
