Doric adds 33rd Aircraft to its Aviation Portfolio Valued at USD 5.4 Billion

London/Offenbach am Main – Doric’s aviation portfolio reached 33 aircraft last Friday after the addition of its 16th A380 under management. The superjumbo with the manufacturer’s serial number (MSN) 107 was acquired by Doric Nimrod Air Finance Alpha Limited (Doric Alpha), a wholly owned subsidiary of Doric Nimrod Air Two Limited (an LSE listed aircraft investment company), at 16:12 CET on 12th October 2012 in Hamburg. The A380 is leased to Emirates for a period of 12 years.

MSN 107 is the second of the four aircraft financed through the Doric Alpha EETC deal which closed in June 2012. The first A380 (MSN 106) was delivered on 1st October 2012. The remaining two superjumbos are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2012.

Doric’s assets under management are currently valued at USD 6.5 billion.
