Doric Adds New Boeing 747 to Asset Management Portfolio

Offenbach – On 5 March 2015 Doric added a Boeing 747-8F cargo plane to its asset management portfolio at Boeing‘s headquarters in Seattle, USA. The aircraft carries the manufacturer‘s serial number 35823 and is leased long-term to Cargolux Airlines International S.A.

An innovative financing structure was used to fund the purchase of the freighter now on lease to Cargolux. Loans were provided by Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba) and Deutsche Bank. Doric is providing long-term asset management on the investor side. Doric Managing Director Sibylle Pähler commented on the closing of the transaction: “We are delighted to have diversified our portfolio once more.“
