Eastern Air Lines Group, Inc. files with the U.S. Dept. of Transportation as the first step in launching the new Eastern Air Lines

MIAMI, Jan. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Eastern Air Lines Group, Inc., (“Eastern”) has filed an application with the United States Department of Transportation for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. Eastern plans on commencing its Part 121 certification with the Federal Aviation Administration shortly and has retained legal counsel and consultants for this purpose.
