Economic indicators for April 2011

In April 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 35 000 passengers, that is by 13% more than number of passengers transported in the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on directions Chisinau-London (97%), Chisinau-Lisbon (79%), Chisinau-Vienna (45), Chisinau-Madrid (31%) and Chisinau-Athens (+17).

More than 500 passengers used in April Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-April 2011 were transported more than 2600 transfer passengers.

In April 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 111 tons, indicating an increase of 37% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.
