Economic indicators for August 2011

In August 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 65 000 passengers, that is by 7% more in comparison with the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on directions Chisinau-London (112%), Chisinau- Vienna (87), Chisinau- Paris (59%), Chisinau- Madrid (55) and Chisinau-Kiev (+44).

More than 1200 passengers used in August Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow, Sochi, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-August 2011 were transported more than 6300 transfer passengers.

In August 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 120 tons, indicating an increase of 43% comparing with the similar period of 2010.
