Economic indicators for February 2011

In February 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 22 000 passengers, that is by 5% more in comparing with the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-London (253%), Chisinau- Lisbon (70), Chisinau-Bucharest (35%), Chisinau-Madrid (33%) and Chisinau-Athens (+29).

More than 200 passengers used in February Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB.

In February 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 95 tons, indicating an increase of 40% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.

Air Moldova airline flies direct to 17 destinations – Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Munchen and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Class of service – Business and Economy.

Air Moldova is the biggest Moldavian airline. It has more than 50% of air transportations registered on the national market.
