Economic indicators for July 2011

In July 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 63 000 passengers, that is by 17% more in comparison with the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on directions Chisinau-London (98%), Chisinau- Vienna (67), Chisinau- Paris (23%), Chisinau- Madrid (21) and Chisinau-Athens (+16).

More than 1500 passengers used in July Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow, Sochi, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-July 2011 were transported more than 5100 transfer passengers.

In July 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 111 tons, indicating an increase of 52% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.
