Economic indicators for June 2011

In June 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 55 000 passengers, that is by 17% more in comparison with the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on directions Chisinau-London (93%), Chisinau-Kiev (64%), Chisinau- Vienna (45) and Chisinau-Paris (9).

More than 1000 passengers used in June Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow, Sochi, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-June 2011 were transported more than 3600 transfer passengers.

In June 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 101 tons, indicating an increase of 35% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.
