Economic indicators for March 2011

In March 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 25 000 passengers, the same number of passenger was transported in the similar period of 2010.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on directions Chisinau-London (137%), Chisinau-Madrid (29%), Chisinau- Vienna (25), Chisinau-Bucharest (21%) and Chisinau-Larnaca (+17).

More than 500 passengers used in March Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-March 2011 were transported more than 2100 transfer passengers.

In March 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 88 tons, indicating an increase of 16% in comparing with the similar period of 2010.
