EGYPTAIR Adds a New Frequency to Dusseldorf

With the increasing importance of linking the European destinations with Egypt, EGYPTAIR has added a new frequency to Dusseldorf in Germany. By this new frequency, EGYPTAIR customers can now enjoy 4 weekly non-stop flights between Cairo and Dusseldorf onboard EGYPTAIR’s new B737-800.
Noteworthy that EGYPTAIR’s B737-800 accommodates 24 business class seats in order to meet the demand on business travel. Further, the seat pitch in this type was increased to hit 48’ which exceeds the international norm on medium range aircrafts. Further, the aircraft is equipped system with Video-On-Demand (VOD) entertainment features and laptop power outlets.

In addition, Dusseldorf is the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and centre of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.

Modern Düsseldorf is an important international business and financial centre and also renowned for its fashion and trade fairs. Even though it only ranks the seventh among the ten most populous cities in Germany by population within city limits, Düsseldorf is one of the country’s five global cities.

Düsseldorf International Airport, from which EGYPTAIR operates, also referred to as Rhein-Ruhr Airport, is located eight kilometres (5 miles) from the city centre and can easily be reached by train or the S-Bahn urban railway. There is a long-distance train station served by regional and national services, which is linked to the airport by the SkyTrain, an automatic peoplemover. The (old) local station situated under the terminal building carries the S-Bahn line to the city’s central station and to Cologne as well as a few selected night services.
