EgyptAir Names Captain Roshdy Zakria As Chairman & CEO

Capt. Roshdy Zakaria was named as the Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR AIRLINES. Captain Zakaria has a broad experience in aviation industry; He spent his full 30 years of his career at EGYPTAIR. He held many positions, namely Chief Pilot examiner and instructor on A300-B4; B767 and B777. He also held the position of Deputy VP Flight Operation.

He was a very influential member of many strategic committees and led a number of projects in the transition period of EGYPTAIR. He was the project of setting and building the Flight Operation EGYPTAIR IOCC (Integrated Operation Control Center) in 1999.

Captain Zakaria holds B.SC in Aviation and he was born in 1957, he is married with one son and one daughter, they are both pilots. He is fond of reading and swimming.
