Embraer Delivers 17 Commercial and 12 Executive Jets in 1Q13

São José dos Campos, Brazil, April 11, 2013 – During the first quarter of 2013 (1Q13), Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; BM&FBOVESPA: EMBR3) delivered 17 jets to the commercial aviation market and 12 to business aviation, for a total of 29 aircraft. On March 31, 2013, the firm order backlog totaled USD 13.3 billion, an increase of USD 800 million over December 31, 2012.

As previously announced by the Company, this backlog includes an order for 47 E175 jets from Republic Airways Holdings Inc., disclosed on January 24 and confirmed on March 26, and also a contract signed by Embraer Defense and Security to supply 20 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft for the Light Air Support (LAS) program for the U.S. Air Force (USAF).
