São José dos Campos, December 17, 2010 – Cynthia Marcondes Ferreira Benedetto has been appointed the Company’s new CFO, today. She takes up the responsibilities of Luiz Carlos Aguiar, who will become the President and CEO of the recently created Embraer Defense and Security unit.
Currently Embraer’s Director of Finance, she will assume her new position on January 1, 2011. Cynthia has a degree in Economy, postgraduate in financial administration and auditing, and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
A seasoned executive with vast experience and market recognition, she has been with the Company since 1986 and over the past nine years has been at the helm of Embraer’s Finance Department.
