Ethiopian signs Code Share Agreement with Asiana Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing African airline, has signed a code share
agreement with Asiana Airlines, the award winning South Korean airline, enhancing
the growing cooperation with Star Alliance member carriers. The new partnership
between Ethiopian and Asiana will provide passengers of both airlines with more
flight options and better connections between Africa and Asia.

According to the agreement, Ethiopian will put its code on Asiana operated flights
to/from Hong Kong-Seoul and Asiana will code share on Ethiopian operated flights
to/from Hong Kong-Addis Ababa.

Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam CEO of Ethiopian Airlines said, “We are delighted to partner
with Asiana airlines, one of the main players in Asia, and the agreement will support
our commitment towards improving the travel experience of our passengers.”

The four weekly code share flights will commence on August 29, 2011 as per the
following schedule.

Ethiopian has been strengthening its partnership with mega carriers through code
share agreements that create easier flight choices, shorter transit options and greater
