ExpressJet Airlines names Brad Sheehan as vice president - Flight Operations

ATLANTA – ExpressJet Airlines , a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. ( NASDAQ: SKYW), has named Brad Sheehan as the vice president – Flight Operations following the retirement of Charlie Tutt on March 1.

Sheehan began his career with ExpressJet in 199 7 as a pilot based in Atlanta. In 1999, he moved to the Flight Training and Standards department as a training program manager, check airman, line check airman and instructor pilot. In 2004, he was named project manager – Methods and Standards for Flight Operations. From 2007 to 2010, Brad served as chief pilot in Atlanta. In 2010, Brad was promoted to director of Corporate Safety, Security and Compliance.“ Brad was instrumental in launching numerous safety programs including our Safety Management System ( SMS),” said Brad Holt, president and COO of ExpressJet .“

His strong leadership history, achievements in safety , and in – depth understanding of the Flight Operations division make him as a perfect fit to lead the division.”

Sheehan graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Aviation Management. He currently lives in Atlanta with his wife and son.
