Finnair is again adding new flights to its Asian destinations. Starting 6 January, Finnair will operate seven direct return flights per week to Delhi, which will mean a daily service during the winter season.
“Growth is excellent in our main strategy area, namely Asia-Europe traffic. We have gradually increased flights to a number of Asian destinations, the latest being Delhi,” says Finnair’s Senior Vice President Commercial Division Mika Perho.
At the end of 2010, Finnair also increased the number of direct flights to Osaka, Nagoya and Seoul. A new destination, Singapore, will open in May, and in June Finnair will increase the number of flights to Hong Kong. Next summer, Finnair will fly a record number of 74 flights per week to 10 Asian cities.
