In November, Finnair traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres decreased by 7.1 per cent and the overall capacity decreased 4.9 per cent year‐on‐year due to the strike treat and preparations made for the possible strikes of The Finnish Flight Attendants’ Association (SLSY) and The Finnish Aviation Union (IAU). Passenger load factor was 1.6 percentage points below last year’s level and was 71.3 per cent.
The capacity in Asian traffic decreased by 7.2 per cent and the traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres by 9.5 per cent year‐on‐year.
European traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres grew by 5.4 per cent and capacity was flat year-on-year.
Leisure traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres decreased by 25.9 per cent and capacity decreased by 12.2 per cent year-on-year.
In cargo, traffic measured in revenue tonne kilometres grew by 3.3 per cent and the overall capacity was flat year-on-year. The load factor improved by 2.3 percentage points year-on-year and was 72.6 per cent.
In November, the arrival punctuality of Finnair flights was excellent. In Scheduled traffic, 90.4 per cent of flights arrived on schedule (87.4). Of all traffic, 90.0 per cent (89.7) of flights were on schedule.
