First Airbus A319 is registered with the Channel Islands Aircraft Registry - 2-REG

Guernsey 08 April 2014 – 2-REG, The Channel Islands Aircraft Registry has made its most significant aircraft registration so far after signing an Airbus A319.

The off-lease aircraft has been placed on the register at the request of a world-leading lessor.

Wim Ovaa, 2-REG Executive Director, said: ‘As we were able to respond swiftly and the 2-REG is particularly attractive as an in-between leases aircraft registry, we are very pleased that the customer has decided to work with us, and so are able to welcome this first Airbus A319 aircraft.’

Mr. Ovaa added that due to the Channel Islands Registry’s set up and unique service provision, it offers the highest safety oversight standards, facilitating smooth and efficient transfers from other State Registries to 2-REG, and subsequently on to the next Registry.
