
Monday 10th February, Dublin: The first of three Boeing 757 aircraft damp leased from ASL Aviation Group’s Irish airline, Air Contractors, has entered service on the Aer Lingus Shannon-Boston route.
Air Contractors will operate two additional B757’s on trans-Atlantic routes for Ireland’s national airline from Shannon to New York and on the new Aer Lingus service from Dublin to Toronto.
All three aircraft will be operated with Air Contractors flight crew and Aer Lingus cabin crew. Two aircraft will be based in Shannon with the third based in Dublin.
Hugh Flynn, Chief Executive, ASL Aviation Group said: “We are delighted and proud to partner with Aer Lingus in this initiative in which they match the aircraft with the market perfectly, facilitating the reintroduction of year round trans-Atlantic services for the airline from Shannon.”

The three 757’s will operate with 177 seats; 165 economy seats and a business cabin with 12 sleeper seats. New cabins include an extensive in-flight entertainment selection with individual passenger screens throughout the aircraft.
Air Contractors B757’s will operate Aer Lingus flights from Shannon to Boston daily and from Shannon to New York six days a week from March 30th. Toronto is the sixth largest North American market from Ireland and B757 flights to Toronto will operate daily from Dublin.
