On the Eve of March, 8th Boeing 777 Freighter of Emirates SkyCargo, cargo division of the Dubai-based Emirates Airline, landed in Moscow Domodedovo Airport with over 60 tons of flowers from Kenya onboard.
The service became first commercial flight of Emirates SkyCargo to Moscow. Among other goods, the aircraft carried 450 thousand of roses weighting 64 tons in total. The flowers were efficiently handled by Domodedovo Cargo Terminal’s staff and delivered to consignees.
Emirates and Moscow Domodedovo Airport have been partners since the 1st of July, 2003. Emirates holds the leading position in cargo transportation volume among foreign carriers operating flights to the airport.
