Frontier Airlines Reports May 2013 Traffic

Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary traffic results for May 2013. For the month, Frontier’s total system load factor increased to 91% from 90% in May 2012, setting a new record for Frontier for the month. Frontier’s total system revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased 16% to 0.9 billion RPMs on an 18% reduction in capacity. Frontier Airlines served approximately 1.0 million passengers in May, a 15% reduction from the same period last year.
