Helsinki, Finland – GA Telesis Engines Services (“GATES”) has named Tommi Valtonen as Managing Director and Head of Operations and Gökhan Aydogan as Vice President of Commercial.
Tommi Valtonen has over 20 years of aerospace manufacturing and MRO experience. He spent the last 15 years working for Finnair Engines Services and will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of all technical operations.
Gökhan Aydogan has 20 years of aerospace experience having started and spent much of his career at Honeywell Aerospace & Engine Systems. He will oversee commercial matters, engine support programs, and maintenance cost and reliability tracking.

Tommi has been running the operations for the past several years and has intrinsic knowledge of processes, the people and the customers; while Gök has an incredible amount of experience running the commercial elements related to engine support programs, maintenance costs management and forecasting,” he added.
GA Telesis Engine Services Oy is a wholly owned subsidiary of GA Telesis, LLC. GATES will provide comprehensive repair and overhaul services for the General Electric CF6-80C2 and CFM International CFM56-5B/C jet engine models as well as repair and modification services for Pratt & Whitney PW2000 engines. Collectively these engine models constitute the greatest number of single and twin-aisle jet engines in commercial airline operation.
