Garuda’s performance increased significantly in July 2011

Meanwhile, throughout July 2011, the airline’s performance showed a significant increase in revenue amounting up to IDR 2.45 trillion, or an increase of up to 40% compared to the previous year, in July 2010, during which the airline booked IDR 1.74 trillion.

Passenger volume in July 2011 also grew to 1.642 million passengers, an increase by 30% from last year’s record of 1.159.749 passengers.

Thanks to these significant achievements, in July 2011, Garuda Indonesia booked an operating profit of IDR 459,5 billion and a net profit of IDR 320 billion. Compared to what the company achieved July of last year, this year’s result shows an increase of 42.6 % from IDR 188.4 billion.
Throughout July 2011, the airline’s fleet utilization rose from 10:23 hours per day in 2010 to 11:23 hours per day in 2011.

Up till July 2011, Garuda Indonesia has booked a net profit of IDR 133.4 billion.
