GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and STREAM

Commenting on the announcement, Mark Nieuwendijk, Managing Director of AerData said: “Combining the capabilities of STREAM with the GECAS fleet will result in significant cost savings for GECAS and its customers by creating efficiencies in the aircraft and engine transition process, and help protect the value of the aircraft and engines.”

Gerry Kenneally, SVP and Manager Technical Operations of GECAS said, “GECAS wanted to modernize the current records process of transitioning aircraft between lessees. Our goal was to establish a method whereby our staff, contractors, customers and regulators could work together via a hosted system in order to upload, manage and share critical records at a transition. Less downtime and less costs in transitions is our goal. AerData’s product, leasing experience and IT infrastructure matched our requirements.”
