SAO PAULO, October 22, 2012 – GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced today it will lease four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. as part of a purchase and leaseback transaction.
Delivery of the first aircraft from the airline’s existing order book with Boeing is scheduled for December 2012.
GOL operates a fleet of 128 aircraft to more than 63 destinations in 12 countries.
