GE Capital Aviation Services Signs Purchase-and-Leaseback Deal with TUI Travel for Two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners

SHANNON, Ireland, March 13, 2014 — GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced a purchase-and-leaseback agreement with TUI Travel for two new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.

The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in May and June 2014 and will become the first 787 models in the GECAS fleet.

GECAS placed an order directly with Boeing in September 2013 for 10 of the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner models. These aircraft are scheduled for delivery beginning in 2019.
