GLOBAL AIRCRAFT SERVICES ANNOUNCES EXPANSION TO IRELAND, APPOINTS REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

(Seattle, USA) – Global Aircraft Services, Inc. (Global), a leader in providing aircraft ferry flights and related aviation services, has opened a new office in Shannon, Ireland, to facilitate the company’s continued growth in Europe plus emerging markets in Africa and the Middle East. The company’s location in Ireland will enhance its commercial position as a service provider to the multitude of aircraft leasing and technical companies located there and throughout the Continent. In addition, the Shannon office will improve the planning and coordination with current clients in Ireland, the Netherlands and Russia.

“Our new office in Ireland is a natural step to support future growth,” said Kenneth Moninski, President of Global. “We can maintain a presence in a key hub of aircraft leasing and management activity. Global’s Shannon location places us in the midst of a vibrant aviation cluster, while offering close proximity to potential clients in Dublin and other European business centres.”

Global’s Shannon office will be headed by aviation veteran Patricia Lynch. She has been appointed to the newly-created position of Regional Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining Global, Ms Lynch was employed by GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for over 20 years. At GECAS she performed key management roles, including Vice President Customer Relations & Strategic Marketing and Aircraft Deliveries Manager.

“I am excited to have someone of Patricia’s experience and customer-focus joining our team at Global,” added Moninski. ”Her extensive knowledge of the aircraft transition process will be invaluable in presenting our capabilities to new clients in the region.”
