GOL and TAP Enter Into a Codeshare Agreement

SAO PAULO, April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: GOLL4 and NYSE: GOL), (S&P: B, Fitch: B, Moody’s: B3), the largest low-cost and low-fare airline in Latin America announces that it has signed a contract to implement a codeshare and frequent flyer program agreement with TAP. The agreement will be submitted for the authorization of Portugal and Brazil’s governments, and is still pending the approval of Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and Antitrust Authority (CADE).

Initially, the agreement will allow TAP, a Portuguese company with more than 74 weekly flights from Portugal to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Campinas, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Salvador, Natal, Fortaleza and Recife, to include its codes on GOL’s flights, enabling connections to other Brazilian destinations.

The companies will also offer members of GOL’s, SMILES, and TAP’s, Victoria, loyalty programs, the possibility to accumulate and redeem miles on all eligible flights operated by the two companies.
